Dr. Amy Thomas is originally from Elkhart, Indiana. She graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio and received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. She also completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Tennessee and then joined Women’s Health Advantage in 2007.
Dr. Thomas is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the Laborist Program at Dupont Hospital.
She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading.
In addition to delivering babies and performing robotic gynecologic surgeries, she also has developed a particular interest in perimenopause and menopause, hormone and metabolic health. Ask her about her recommendations for reading and listening to health podcasts
