Ultrasound Information & Instructions

OB:

• 0-12 WEEKS - No prep/vaginal scan
• 13-36 WEEKS -  32-48 ounces of liquid 1 hour before scan

CERVICAL LENGTH SCAN

• No prep/vaginal scan

GYN

• Age 18 and younger - 32-48 ounces of liquid/abdominal scan
• Over 18 (unless virginal) - No prep/vaginal scan

SONOHYSTEROGRAM

• No prep/vaginal scan

NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY

• 11-13 weeks - Full Bladder/32-48 ounces of liquid/Abdominal scan - Scheduled at the F.W. Perinatal Center only
