IF YOUR QUESTION INVOLVES YOUR  PREGNANCY HEALTH OR THE HEALTH OF YOUR BABY, DO NOT USE THE PORTAL AS LONG RESPONSE TIMES CAN OCCUR. PLEASE ONLY USE THE PORTAL FOR ROUTINE QUESTIONS IN WHICH A DELAYED RESPONSE WILL NOT BE A CONCERN. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE AT 260-432-4400 DURING BUSINESS HOURS AND 260-399-3922 AFTER HOURS FOR EMERGENT QUESTIONS REGARDING YOUR PREGNANCY.

 

 

Below are some guidelines to help make Ask A Nurse the most effective for you as a patient.

     

*** Questions of an urgent nature should not be left on the portal. 

EXAMPLES OF URGENT QUESTIONS:

              If you have one of the below situations please call the office for an appointment today or go to the emergency room.

            

                  OB:  Contractions, bleeding, leaking fluid or decreased fetal movement.

             *** When leaving a question regarding your pregnancy, please include the first day of your last menstrual period.

             Gyn:  Bleeding excessively (soaking a pad per hour) or extreme pain.

***Please DO NOT cut and paste any information in the body of your message.  This can create transmission issues.

*** Messages must be regarding your own personal health care.

 

*** Messages will be retrieved and answered during normal business hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday).

 

*** If you feel you need an appointment today, please call the office at 260-432-4400 and speak with Scheduling.

 

*** You must be a patient of Women’s Health Advantage to use this portal.

 

*** If you are registered on the portal by a different name than we would have on record in your patient chart, please indicate both names in your message.

*** Only submit one entry for the same problem.

 

*** If you called and left a message for the phone nurse, please do not send a message through the portal for the same problem.  If you sent a message through the portal, please do not leave a voicemail message for the phone nurse.  This can cause duplicate responses back to you.
